The registration process for MDCAT will begin on 17th July  and end on 31st July. Candidates can register online during this period, with an option for late registration from 1st to 7th August. Here are the important dates:

MDCAT 2025 Pattern

Exam Levels and Question Distribution. The MDCAT exam will be a paper-based, multiple-choice examination conducted in English. It will consist of 200 MCQs, with subjects and distribution as follows:

The MDCAT will be a 200-mark exam, with each multiple-choice question (MCQ) worth 1 mark. There will be no negative marking.

Passing Percentage for MDCAT

To seek admission to medical colleges, candidates must achieve a passing percentage of 55%, while for dental colleges, the passing percentage is 50%. Aspiring candidates are advised to strive for excellence to meet these criteria and secure their place in their desired institution.

Result Validity

The MDCAT result will be valid for a period of three years from the date of the examination, as per section 17 of the PM&DC Act.

International Venues for MDCAT

For the convenience of international candidates, MDCAT will be conducted at two international venues: Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). International aspirants can choose either of these venues based on their visa and travel preferences.

Registration Fee

The registration fee for exam centres in Pakistan is Rs. 6,000/-, and for international exam centres, it is 100 USD. Late registration fees for international centres are 150 USD Dollars.

Mandatory Requirements for Registration

During the registration process on the MDCAT Exam Registration Portal, candidates must upload their 1st Year F. Sc (Pre-Medical) Marks Sheet/DMC. This is a crucial requirement for successful registration, so candidates must ensure they have their documents ready.
