After the Announcement of the MDCAT 2020 result, Resutlpedia team started working on MDCAT tentative merit list to predict the merit of Public sector Medical colleges.
Result pedia team collected Student’ Fsc and matric marks from relative board gazettes and from different online sources like Scribd and google.
Result Pedia team collected/scraped the mdcat 2020 result from PMC web and their gazette.
Then Result pedia technical team made tentative merit lists with the knowledge of python language. But after programming work, some students’ data was not matching accurately. So, here our team worked manually to Correct the mismatches and mistakes.
Finally, using different aggregate formulas which were possible in mdcat 2020 using Excel our team made an aggregate of marks.
and then made a merit list of mdcat 2020 in pdf format so everyone can search his/her position by name.
Some important points are:
- This is not an official merit list. This is made to predict the merit of Public Medical colleges.
- Matric & Fsc marks are collected from the gazettes.
- NMDCAT Marks are collected from the PMC site.
- Human Error: minor possible
- Hafiz Quran Test: Marks not added.
- Try to search your name by typing it without any space, If you face any Issue in searching.
- Errors and omissions excepted.

Tentative merit list for them.
A few main reasons are listed below:
1. We are unable to get all FSC Result gazettes of Sindh boards.
2. The gazettes which are available to us, are not prepared “by the name”,
instead, these are “by roll numbers” so that we can’t use them to prepare
merit list
3. Seats distribution is very complex in Sindh and our team mostly
belongs to Punjab, is unable to understand it.

Why did you only form merit list of students having 167+ marks in punjab?
Because, we made a list for government sector. And it is the least number where a student can secure its seats.

Merit list of Balochistan is uploaded today, sir.
But due to covid intermediate part 2 examinations were not held and the result was based on part 1 criteria.
Wasn’t it decided that marks of any class like intermediate would not be taken into consideration for the final result since most of the medical students were not satisfied with the result.
